It is a fabric pattern that consists of multiples colors and regularly makes an appearance on the runways and in trend reports come Fall. What I really love is that the true Scottish plaids are often in rich hues of forest green, reds, blues, browns, oranges. In other words, plaid is a pattern that will never go out of style.
Not only can it be worn with almost anything due to the classic pattern but it can also be worn as workwear or casual weekend wear.
Plaid makes me think of Fall weather. It is the pattern that I tend to gravitate towards the most during the colder season. If you are looking for a little newest this season or even already have one in your closet then even better. This is one pattern that is timeless and always a classic in my book. If you haven’t read it yet, I wrote a previous post here that shares with you my 4 tips on how to have a better wardrobe which can help you decide if plaid is a good option for you.

Whatever your style preference, this is something that can easily be found at any price point and in many classic colors. Although, it is too often then not sold in grey plaid, my own style gravitates towards the deep rich hues of Fall.
CITRUS STYLE TIP:
If you prefer the grey plaid, I would suggest that you wear a layering piece such as a long sleeve tee or blouse in a solid contrasting color to make your outfit pop and feel like Fall. It is important that you choose a color that looks good on you, brightens your face and gives you energy.
