Okay, so I might know what you’re thinking you either camp on the ‘i’m no writer side’ OR you’re on the ‘i love to write, I journal every morning type of woman’. Well, both will work in this episode, if you aren’t particularly interested in writing a book or a blog post or putting anything else out in the world …well more online these days, well in the very least this conversation will open your mind to how one story, one written page, 1 paragraph even can tap into your subconscious and transform your way of seeing something.
Get it off your chest.
You might not even realize that it’s damaging your psyche.
Diana Raab
You’ve probably heard or read somewhere about the power of storytelling.
Have you ever read an article, a blog post, a book, poetry, a biography or even a friend’s post on Facebook about her struggles and you could relate, understand and felt like ‘YES, ME TOO!’ or you somehow felt connected in a way to that person from afar knowing just a little bit about her story……
Well, this is kinda what this episode is about, but having you in the driver’s seat with the purple pen in your hands….okay, well this is my guest’s favorite pen of choice when writing.
So a little bit about my special guest. Diana Raab is an awar winning writer, a mom of 3, grandmother, Californian living woman, speaker, poet, memoir writer….like the list could go on. She even has 2 Mom’s Choice awards for two of her books! So cool!
This woman is sharing some of her writing prompts tips and what it takes to start writing anything and letting go of what might be keeping you stuck or help you observe better what’s around you. Develop that curiosity through writing in details and you might even remember some good ol’times that pop up when you write.
