Have you ever wondered what makes the difference in a child’s life to succeed? Why do some kids crumble under the pressure or when things get tough while others thrive? What do parents need to teach kids in order to raise them to be mentally strong humans?
Believe it or not, we ALL have what it takes to help kids succeed or to change a problem child into a flourishing person. In this episode, Dr. Michael Ungar shares what his years of experience working as a family & marriage therapist. Fun anecdotes and examples of what families and kids themselves have told him about what they need to become resilient and good citizens in today’s world.
There are a few keys things that us parents need to model and establish in our homes and in our children’s environment in order to let them be themselves, be well and act well.
We have to start thinking about changing the world around us before we start changing ourselves.
