A must-have book for mothers!
This book ‘Breathe Mama Breathe’ has been mentally life saving for me ever since reading it a few months ago. Seriously and honestly, have you ever felt like you weren’t a good mom if you lost your temper or even screamed at your kids….or had those thoughts of throwing something at your child…oups, did I actually write this…well, in all fairness this mom life can feel at times like your kids are pushing all of your buttons.
Stopping and recognizing that we do need to pause sometimes and take a time-out.
Shonda Moralis
Enters Shonda Moralis, a psychotherapist specializing in stress-related disorders and mindfulness-based therapy, wife and a mother of 2. She has written 67, YES 67! bite size 5 minute mindful breaks for busy moms which translates to EVERY MOMS. They vary in all forms with some for morning moms, to during your day to day things and evening breaks as well. You are covered and she mixes it up with her own mom anecdotes which made me truly laugh out loud to some of them.
