In this episode, Giselle Courteau, a self-taught home baker shares her journey from finding her passion being in the kitchen baking sweet desserts for her family and the path which lead her to becoming co-owner of the ever so popular Duchess Bake Shop in Edmonton, Alberta. Known for their world class pastries they offer the perfect blend of classic French pastries, like macarons, croissants, and éclairs, and favourites, like brownies and butter tarts. ! Seriously, everytime I am in this city, someone tells me to meet them at one of her many bake shops for lunch or coffee and dessert.

This place is always packed and if you’re lucky to find a table at lunch time, well, you will not be disappointed by the quality and the variety of sweet & savory dishes and beverages!
