Mom life, work life, balancing both like a clown, we actually end up feeling a little crazy, especially if you are still in full mode “mom brain” with a little baby.
So today I am so excited to be sharing an interview I did with someone that truly knows her stuff when it comes to essential oils and is kind and genuine to boot.
Lidia Croteau, 34, mom to Evelina 4, is a Doterra Wellness Advocate that has been studying and using essential oils in her daily routines for over 8 years as well as being Owner of a Dental Lab. Needless to say, she’s got a few tricks on using oils to balance her work-family life which she shows us on her facebook page in video form and they are what got be captivated to use them.
After someone close to her got cancer, she started questioning herself as well as the products she used on her body and in her home. She quickly realized the list of toxins in our skincare and cleaning products and started swapping them with natural ones.
Comments closed”I don’t want to have kids because I want to travel”
This statement could not be any more wrong. Yet, I hear it soooooo often, and it’s the number one thing that gets us nervous when we usually think of traveling with young kids.
Do you squeak like a dolphin whenever you think ”well, I want to travel but….I have young kids”
What’s your story?
Did she tell you this?… scenario number 1
Are you one of those moms that socializes at mommy groups. You know the place where moms happily shares their mom undereye bags stories and secretly compares their child’s motor skills and natural abilities to the other ones. Then, a comment about our childless friends might slip into the conversations because honestly, we can all relate to this subject one way or another.
True story, one mom said that her ”friends without kids” would lovingly look at her kids and say” your kids are soo cute, ahhhh you should have more”. Then she replied: ”why don’t you have some then” , that’s when it happened…”no way, we want to travel, kids aren’t for us….but yours are sooo adorable!” Yep, that answer is becoming a natural pairing like salt & pepper, couples and traveling.
OR did she tell you this? ….scenario number 2
The instructor of the zipline told me that she was engaged. A very fit, petite, funny and late twenties, I’d bungee jump looking kinda women. As soon as she heard that we had left our 2 young kids at the airbnb with my parents so we could do an activity together, like fire burning her toes, she immediately added that ”I’m not ready for kids, I want to travel before any kids”
Yes, traveling before having babies launch out of you is great but don’t fall into the ”i’m doomed to stay at home or only visit relatives and friends” lifestyle if that is not your hearts desire.
Comments closedTraveling with kids can be a wonderful experience if you let go of expectations and carry a well-packed mommy bag.
Because they are soo darn cute!
Unlike other celebrated day of the year, Valentine’s Day inspired/themed baby clothing can be worn any day of the year.
Hearts, Bows, Arrows, Sparkles, Red, Pink or White, these details and colors are always cute on babies anytime.
Let’s be honest, sometimes the style is so cute that you don’t want to risk it being sold out. However, I usually prefer to shop and wear later even a few Valentine’s Day inspired baby\toddler styles once the sales hits.
We all know that the cutest outfits are usually for the little girls but…
Comments closed‘’Mom, where are all the kids?’’ My then 2 ½ year old son asked me as we did our usual playground outing near our house.
Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have given it a conscious thought if he hadn’t pointed this fact with concern and a little disappointment. ‘’I don’t know’’ was the only and real answer I could tell him.
I could have made up some excuses ‘’it’s nap time, it’s lunch time, the kids are at school, the kids are on vacation or even maybe they went to another park…’’ But what was the point.
It seems that kids and parents (who need to accompany their kids) are not that interested or too lazy to go outside.
So that is when I started documenting every time we went to a playground last Fall up until recently this Winter.

Since there are so many products available these days, it really helps when parents share the ones that they truly love and that are totally worth it.
